Today I got together with some friends and my sister to can chicken at our friend Elizabeth's house. We canned 120 pounds of chicken! Becky and Ruth brought their camp stoves to can on.
Here is some of the chicken cooling after we were done canning.
We later found out that you aren't supposed to can on a camp stove because it can cause warping to the pan. Thankfully our pressure canners were ok. It was nice being able to can outside and not heat up the house. Thanks Becky for putting everything together.
