I made this magnetic board today with some friends. We used a piece of wood 11 1/4 x 14 1/4, painted the board, then glued on the metal with wood glue. We drilled holes in the metal to add the thumb tacks, but that is more for decoration. I have our last name (but blurred it out) and then family in vinyl, courtesy of A Nice Thought. :) We used tape to get the square border and then I free handed the white line around the square. I found I am not the best free hand painter.
I am going to hang this in my laundry room and hang up inspirational quotes. If you are like me, I need all of the inspiration I can get to get laundry done.
