St. Patrick's Day Fun

We had a Leprechaun come and visit us this morning. He got into our flour and left foot prints up the fridge.
When we opened the fridge we found the Leprechaun turned our milk green!
The Leprechaun also made some other messes. He dumped out the Legos, popped up the recliner footrest and threw some toys our on the floor.
For breakfast we had green pancakes to match our green milk.
During breakfast my 5 year old decided he wanted to make a trap so we could trap the Leprechaun if he decided to come back during the day. He drew a rainbow on the side of the box and put a glitter shamrock on the top.
We propped the box up with some straws and put fake gold coins in the trap as bait.
We ran some errands and when we came back the trap was set off. The Leprechaun had to leave some of his treasure, but was able to get out with magic. My boys loved the surprises he left.
I love being a mom and creating new traditions for our family. We will have to make Leprechaun traps each year. Happy St. Patrick's Day.
