Getting Started

When I first started using photoshop I wasn't sure what to set the resolution at. But through trial and error I learned that you want it set to at least 300 pixels/inch if you are planning on printing the scrapbook page or what ever you are making.

The error I made was when I was making our Christmas card 2 years ago and set the resolution at 72. It looked fine on the computer so I sent them to the store to get 50 Christmas cards printed, went to the store to pick them up and they were all fuzzy.

So if you are new at using photoshop, make sure to set your resolution at 300 pixels/inch. If it is lower it will look ok on your computer, but not ok when you print it.
