Decorative Vases

My friend Ruth and Becky came up with this great idea. We went over to Ruth's house today to make them. First you buy an inexpensive vase (We got ours at the Dollar Store)

Then you find some inexpensive candle holders. (We also found ours at the Dollar Store)

Then you glue the candle stick to the bottom of the vase with a permanent adhesive, like E-6000 and let it dry. Now you have a decorative vase.
You can use different sizes of candle sticks and different vase sizes and group them together, like this.
I need to go back and get more fake gourds and pumpkins to fill the vases up, but I plan on switching them out for different seasons or holidays.
If you are looking for an elegant, but cheap craft I recommend making these.
